Tejuosho Market Project

 

DAG & K has secured the contract (as a sub contractor under the foreign construction Giant Ugur B-As Construction Limited),for the supply and Laying of the waterproofing membranes for the structures of the New Ultra-modern Tejousho Model Market (in the heart of Lagos), which is one of the laudable Public, Private Participation projects being embarked upon by the administration of Mr. Babatunde Fashola.

 

Work has begun on the the old Tejuosho Market, which was ravaged by fire last year December.

 

The Projects sophisticated features will be an innovative 720-slot car park, which will run through all of its five floors. It will also have elevators, passenger and cargo lifts and room-size refrigerators to help preserve perishables.

 

The total built up floor area will be 95,000 square metres. Apart from lock-up shops with sizes ranging from 9 sqm to 19 sqm, the plan also includes 4sqm Kee Klamps and larger shops/eateries of 129sqm.

 

Dag is currently applying the waterproofing membranes for the basement structure.

 

The project is expected to be completed within 18 months.
